Warranty Coverage
XFP MTB protection kits use UV-stable polymers and a market-leading adhesive engineered to stay clear, stable, and securely bonded for years of real riding. That’s why we back our products with a clear, transparent warranty coverage based on how XFP is designed to perform.
Clear XFP Film: 10-year warranty against yellowing and cracking.
Printed XFP Film: 5-year warranty against excessive colour fading under normal riding and environmental conditions.
All XFP Kits: 36-month warranty against delamination and adhesive failure.
What We Cover
Clear XFP Film (up to 10 years from purchase):
If your clear XFP film yellows or cracks under normal riding and environmental conditions and it was installed according to our instructions, we’ll replace it.
Printed XFP Film (5 years from purchase):
If a printed kit experiences excessive or uneven colour fading within 5 years of purchase, under normal riding and exposure conditions, we’ll replace it.
All XFP Kits (36 months from purchase):
If your kit bubbles, delaminates, or suffers adhesive failure under normal riding conditions—and you installed it following our instructions, we’ll replace it. No hassle.
What’s Not Covered (And Why)
This warranty covers material and adhesive failure, not the wear that proves the product is doing its job. We don’t cover:
- Riding damage: Scuffs, scratches, chips, cuts, or tears caused by rocks, debris, chain slap, pedals, crashes, or bike transport. XFP is a sacrificial layer, surface wear is expected.
- Improper installation: Installing on a dirty, greasy, or contaminated frame, or stretching the film beyond its limits. Follow our Installation Guide – it’s short and it works.
- Rough trimming: Jagged cuts, tearing, or edge damage caused by dull tools. Trimming is expected (frames vary), but clean edges matter, use sharp scissors or a fresh blade.
- Chemical abuse: Acetone, paint thinner, abrasive polishes, degreasers not safe for protective films, or pressure-washing directly at film edges.
- Abnormal exposure: Prolonged exposure to extreme heat, chemicals, industrial fallout, or long-term outdoor storage in harsh environments without use.
About Our Templates
Our kits are based on a proprietary, tried-and-tested universal template designed to fit most MTB frames. Minor trimming (especially around mounts, pivots, cable bumps, or bottle cage bosses) is normal and expected due to frame manufacturing differences.
As long as trimming is done cleanly and the installation guidelines are followed, your warranty remains fully valid.

Our Promise to You
We’re riders too. XFP is designed to take abuse so your frame doesn’t. Marks and wear in high-impact zones like downtubes and chainstays mean it’s doing exactly what it was built for.
We won’t replace film that’s worn through riding, that’s expected. But if the film itself fails—yellowing when it shouldn’t, adhesive failing after a clean install, cracking without impact, or premature fading on printed kits—we stand behind it.
Clear film: up to 10 years. Printed film: 5 years. Adhesive performance: 36 months. Straightforward. Fair. Transparent.
